Teaching the girls International Cuisine

I guess due to a military childhood, I have a broad palette.
As far as different cultures goes, I learned alot. Among the most memorable
was the different foods we ate and then later learned to cook.
While on tour in Japan for four years, this dish became one of our absolute favorites.
Egg rolls, Lumpia, Spring rolls they are all pretty much the same.
My Dad would cook these every Christmas Eve,
no ham.... just these, that's a military family for you.
Oh, but he made them much fuller
however, he would make some thin ones and put them aside for me
he knew I liked them better that way :)

Fill with meat mixture........

3 folds and roll up.

oh, seal each roll with egg whites....

fry 10 mn. (5 on one side and 5 on the other)

Take out.
Put on plate with paper towels to soak up extra oil.

Wait 2 minutes so you don't burn your thung lie I thid.

Enjoy :)
