Negative confirmation

Is it any coincidence, I've been writing about this all week, discussing this with my husband in bits and pieces, started editing it last night before I posted it and our Pastor preached along these same lines this morning? Now that's positive confirmation and truly a blessing to me! 

Negative Confirmation

In this life, whenever you want to do something for God, for the good of people unto The Lord, ( especially, especialy the lost) there's something John and I have just learned to expect, its called, "negative confirmation" which actually comes right before, during or after you have done something good for the Lord. These are negative reactions from the Devil and "the opposing team"  that confirm you are on the right track. It is like if you have ever played soccer and you are just about to score a goal and now all of the opposing teams eyes are on you and the name of the game? Stop her or stop him.

And although we all like to get that positive confirmation we are doing the right thing maybe from our fellow team mates or like sometimes when God gives us something from His Word and blesses us, negative confirmation is still very

much a reality as well and can also occur. This is the bad things that happen, the attack of the devil because you are on the right track. Years back, I would feel "well, I am not going any further, this just isn't meant to be, everything is going wrong!" when actually everything was going right!! the opposition was my confirmation I was in the will of God. As I sometimes see the negative things happening ( like Sunday mornings, Im sorry but there may never....ever be a "normal" Sunday morning if you are trying to get to church, no matter how hard you prepare the night before, our family...we just expect it) although unpleasant at times, we see that old devil and "the opposing team" and their effort to thwart our effort and many times that's all the confirmation we need to run harder for The Lord and drive out stakes down deeper in His will and its like that adrenaline right before you are about to score, but its Gods power flowing through you, so you kick it, you make a goal (despite the oppositon) and if God gets the glory through it all, you've won!!!
