Well, after 3 days full of instruction from the Word, all I can say is, my heart is full.
Bro.Danny Whetstone-
"If you have a pulse, He has a purpose."
Bro.Gene Rowell-
"...and the Lord was with him."
1 Samuel 16:18c (David played the harp)
"And the Lord was with him" is not always the case for every Christian musician or for those who sing Christian songs.
Spiritual words and a secular beat make a confusing sound. You can't put spiritual words to jungle music and it be reverent. The content should be spiritual and the tune reverent.
Bro. Barry Spears-(Ex-Hells Angels biker)
God turned Lots wife into what she
should have been the whole time (salt).
Get up every morning and say, "I choose this day, this hour, this moment to serve the Lord."
(88 years old preached like he was 40)
"I don't have a sermon, anybody can preach a sermon, I have a message."
"I didn't get in to get out, I didn't get on to get off, I didn't start to stop."
(Acts 20:24)
"The gospel is the dynamite of God, all we need to do to is put a spark to it and get out of the way, it'll get the job done."
Bro. Don Walterburger
"Lift up a standard for the people."
Isaiah 62:10c
Spread the seed!! most pew sitters want to sit and eat the seed but too lazy to plant the seed.
" I told my daughter if you ever bring a lazy boy home it better be a recliner!"
Bro Paul Sisk-
" I didn't know how to live right until the Live Righter took up His abode on the inside."
Bro. Bo Wagner-
"Adam knew what he was doing, so did the second Adam....Calvary was plan A and there never was a plan B."
Bro.Larry Raynes-
"Are you clay in the Potters hand."
Interesting fact- on the potters wheel, the potter puts his hand in the middle and he begins to shape the vessel from the inside out.
Bro. James Jones-
Feeding and tending His sheep is of primary importance to the Shepherd not sheering and slaying them. In the Shepherd you'll find.....a friend who loves you, food to nourish you, fire to warm you and favour to encourage you.
Bro. Alfred Willis-
" I'd rather preach in a prison any day because I don't have to spend the first hour trying to get them to admit who they really are."
