He's Still Working on Me!

Did you know that it is possible for someone to see you, for you and just make up their mind, they love you anyway, because love isn't a feeling it's a choice. I thank God for those friends who overlook my broken fence and see my garden. It's like they offer a healthy greenhouse where I'm allowed to bloom and grow. I'm free to be me, because they understand, "He's still working on me!" I'm free to make mistakes and grow along the way without fear, and so are they. We can "confess our faults one to another " as the scriptures say, without regret later on down the road that we did or without fearing that one will use it as leverage to get whatever it is they want for themselves ( shocker...but yes, it happens ). By the way, you should never let someone control you by "what they know", it's a trap. (Does God know about it? Yes.  Is He doing that? No.  Why should they be allowed to?) Just a thought. 

Also, people that are working over-time to try and peg you or your children with everything and anything wrong they can find, have real underlying problems anyway. While I'll be the first to tell you, you don't have to look that hard to see imperfections in our family, I would also ask, Why are you looking so diligently at ours in particular ? Are we that interesting? 

Anyway, I still believe pure love is still out there. I have some salt of the earth friends and I've seen first hand that perfect love does help people grow because it's helped me to grow. I have family who can tell you, perfect love works!   Perfect love, pure love, is selfless, it's without envy, without jealousy, without hidden motives, this love does cast out fear, does motivate people to be there best and I'm so grateful for it!!

The Bissettes are all still under construction and will be until we die..... I'm sorry. But the good news is, when we pass over, our tombstone can then read....

"End of Construction!!"  And trust me I think we will be the happiest about that than anyone else will be!!!
