Just take it one day at a time, you could start with random acts of kindness, please and thank you go a long way too :)
www.bissettebrew.blogspot.com is my mad pursuit to capture our life's story and all over a cup of coffee of course. So hope you enjoy my "break room" chats (or melt downs)and may we all be reminded of how important it is to stop and smell the coffee each and every day.

Marriage needs lighter fluid and fresh wood every now and then.
I think marriage takes intentionally putting lighter fluid on the firewood of love and commitment. Keeping the home fires burning is so vital for your children too. However, reality is, fires die down, they get weaker at some points, be it health issues, pregnancies, finances, military separation but you don't walk away when the fire grows dim! One or both partners needs to grab that lighter fluid and you'll be surprised at how quickly those embers flare up again. I'm not a marriage expert but I know this by what I've seen, many a marriage has failed that I know still had some embers up underneath the ashes that could have been stirred, reignited perhaps with a splash of lighter fluid and some fresh wood but sadly, no one wanted to put the work in. Marriage is not self-maintainable. If your marriage is dull and dry as last weeks biscuits, may I suggest giving your marriage a spontaneous splash of lighter fluid on that firewood this Valentines day and lots of prayer (always of course) and watch it burn again :)
