Still glad to be American

All have gave some, but some gave it all so we could be blessed.

Happy Independance Celebration Day!!! We try not to focus on the negative but on the fact our country is still blessed every day and we are still enjoying freedoms others can only dream about.

Moments from today....

The only way I could get a picture of John is to act like I was taking one of the kabobs......But he knew what I was up to.

We are making these berry kabobs for the tailgate tonight and BoBo loves to help in the kitchen, anything food, he's all there.

Loading up more tail gate food.....

Earlier in the day, we took the kids here after they got done singing at the nursing home ( for some of the folks who couldn't get out on the 4th). We didn't go to every room, just those who had been waiting a while for a visit. Anyways, afterwards, we went here. If you're ever in Wilson check it out, there's actually a bunch of these all over the Raleigh area too. The kids love these sno balls and personally I think the "shark attack" flavor is really good!! Oh and speaking of Pelicans, they beat the Mudcats tonight 16-4, in their own town, that's always embarrassing, yepper do. Tough night for the Mudcats.

Tailgate and Fireworks at Mudcats-

At the end of the day:
1-  I'm still glad to be an American.

2- I owe a great number of people, over a great number of years, from our forefathers, to great congressman, to our troops, for the awesome day we had and the freedoms we enjoyed today.

3-Jesus is still what's right for what's wrong in the world.

               Good Night:)
