On Christ the Solid Rock we stand and we are persuaded that He is able.

We have nothing else to stand on!

Why would I stand on something so weak as myself, man or money?

Our hero's of the faith knew Who to stand on, the Rock of Ages that's Who!! And they did not despair when man gave up on them because they weren't standing on man to begin with, but they  ".....staggered not at the promise through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform." Romans 4:20-21

They made up their mind!!!! They kept marching, they kept pressing on. Their full perseverance was linked to their full persuasion that God was able to do whatever, whenever!!!
